Urban wide

I had been waiting anxiously for my new lens and last week it finally arrived. It's been awhile since I've had a wide angle lens and even then I don't think it was quite like this one. Only today was I able to go out and shoot for fun with it. I love the distorted look and finally being able to get wider shots. It's about time I got this! I can't wait to use it for sessions!

Winter Magic

Though I'm not a big winter person, I just love how pretty it is during and after fresh snowfall. I could not resist going out while it was snowing today. I was almost the only person around. It was so peaceful and serene.

Before the snow fell I was able to do a family session with some friends of ours who were in town for the weekend. Here is a sample!

Winter Session

My sister wanted a picture for a Christmas card. I was happy it had snowed. It definately helped give us the wintery look we were going for. The only bad part was that it was FREEZING!!! I'm suprised we stuck it out for as long as we did to get as many shots as we did. I think I have honestly never been so cold in my life!
